CNC Materials Overview

When your hardware project is ready to transition from 3D printing or other early-stage prototyping to CNC machining, choosing the correct material for each part can be difficult.

Machining is often a costly process and there are many materials available, so it’s best to get things right the first time. The easiest way to go about this is usually to take a close look at your design’s physical and functional requirements, and then make your decision from there.

Fictiv offers eight CNC materials. With four plastics and four metals at your disposal, you’ll be able to prototype for a wide variety of applications and design requirements.
